all i can say is, atlantic city rocked. we played with 3 other bands, one of them being a brit band called My Drug Hell. they were so cool, so chill, and we all stayed over at adam's (the gig producer/performer), indulging in pasta and meat burritos. something about them being british made them that much cooler; they just had a presence on stage and our band danced to theirs. shaggy hair, the british accent, the cool semi intimidating rocker vibe but so nice to talk to...it was a definite highlight in my, shall we say, rock experience?

and now it's time to spend another gorgeous day indoors. dress will hopefully be finished, by wednesday. or my prof will kill me.

i'm totally fibered up. at least for today.

i've been eating kashi cereal, where 1 serving contains 10g of fiber. that's 40% of our daily needs!! considering that i eat probably anywhere from 1-2 cups per day, with soy milk (more fiber), and that i've already eaten two considerable bowls today for breakfast and lunch, i think it's safe to say that...my digestive system will be cleaner after today.

the only reason i'm eating kashi cereal is because the closest grocery store to me is organic, and that's been the only place i've gone food shopping as of late (cereal, soy milk, and chocolate). ugh, williamsburg is pretty ghetto.

belle and sebastian....they're funny.

more gigs...

ENEMIES OF THE SECRET HIDE-OUT

HELLO TRI-STATE PEEPS :: We know it's a long shot, but if you've been
thinking about a trip to Atlantic City soon, next Saturday, April 1st
would be an excellent time to take it!  Not only can you get your card
counting on, but also catch a special stripped-down set featuring
David, Karen, and Leslie at Le Grand Fromage (25 Gordon's Alley...near
the Taj).  Kevin and Luke will be in Dakar with our choreographer
scouting properties for the group, but they will be with us in spirit.
Also on the bill are U.K. garage poppers My Drug Hell - and local
legends 1adam12 and Surefire Broadcast.  It's set to be a wild southern
NJ night!  The show starts at 8pm.

And hey - on the closer-to-home tip, the full group will be hitting the
stage at Fontana's on the Lower East Side on Wednesday, April 12th at
9:00pm and returning to Otto's Shrunken Head on Saturday, May 20th at
10:00pm.  Details about these and other NYC dates will be
forthcoming...

Thanks so much to you all - we love and respect you!!
